Itineraries

Day 1

Arrival - Sigiriya Village Tour

The Sigiriya Village Tour gives you a chance to experience traditional Sri Lanka with all its authenticity. Spend time with the villagers and understand village life. Engage in many village activities that form everyday life, such as an oxen cart ride, a catamaran ride and a walk through the fields. Learn to cook traditional Sri Lankan food. You will finish off traditional Sri Lankan food. You will finish off with an exceptionally delicious buffet lunch, served in classic Sri Lankan style. This is your truly Sri Lankan holiday experience. You may be able to catch sight of an occasional crocodile of water monitor as you glide along. Another possible sighting are cormorants and other water birds. • Oxen Cart Ride. • Traditional catamaran safari. • Cooking demonstration on traditional Sri Lankan food. • Delicious authentic Sri Lankan village lunch included.

Day 2

Sigiriya Hot Air Balloon

Hot Air Ballooning Season in Sri Lanka. Hot Air Ballooning trips are operate during this season. During the period of November to May, most often the winds are light and the sky is at its bluest. The Climate in Dambulla – Kandalam is exceptional for flying balloons, due to its extremely calm and predictable nature. • Pick up time will be 1 hour before Sunrise. • Open buffet Sri Lankan breakfast. • Flight duration 1 Hour plus depending on weather condition. • Landing Ceremony and Pilot hands out your personalized flight certificate.

Day 3

Sigiriya Lion Rock

Sigiriya or Sinhagiri is an ancient rock fortress located in the northern Matale District near the town of Dambulla in the Central Province, Sri Lanka. The name refers to a site of historical and archaeological significance that is dominated by a massive column of rock nearly 200 metres high. Later visit Colombo for and relax.

Day 4

Colombo for Departure

Colombo City Tour – Colombo is the most vibrant city in Sri Lanka. During the city tour you will explore the historic, religious and commercial value of the city. This is a very small city and it is enriched with Colonial type of building and modern structured buildings. You will start your city tour from Fort area and Colombo National Museum. After that you will proceed towards Petta, the most happening bazaar area with mix of people in every nationality and religions. At the bazaar you can do some street shopping as well. There are many famous Buddhist temples, Hindu Kovils, Catholic Churches and Mosques. City tour will continue through Wolfe dhal Dutch church, Hulfts drop law courts and then to cinnamon gardens (high class living), Independent Square, Bandarayake International Conference Hall. Then you can do high end shopping and leading shopping malls in the city (Majestic city, ODEL, House of Fashion).
